Thomas Tom G. Sigmon, 71, of Norcross, GA, died March 23, 2008. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26th, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Norcross. Entombment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Tom retired from Marathon Oil Company in 1991 after 30 years of service. He then owned and operated The Village Market in Norcross. Tom was a long-time resident of Norcross and an active member of the community. After his retirement, he enjoyed breakfast with his buddies, gardening, and fishing. He was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Frances Sigmon of Norcross; sons and daughters-in-law, Dean & Shirley Sigmon of Decatur and Tracy & Kathy Sigmon of Norcross; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie & Barry Isbell of Jefferson; sister, Sylvia Walker of Charlotte, NC; and six grandchildren, Chris & Becky Ferguson, Jessica, Grace, Elizabeth, and Sam Sigmon.
