BUFORD - The Georgia Professional Standards Commission will not investigate a complaint lodged last month against Buford High School principal Steve Miller, said Gary Walker, the director of the Commission's Ethics Division.
The Commission reviewed the complaint but decided not to investigate because the complaint dealt with a discipline issue, Walker said. The complaint was filed after Miller gave the city school district notice of his resignation. Miller has said previously he is leaving at the end of the school year and plans to pursue a job at an elementary or middle school. He said he wants to spend more time with his 10 children - five biological daughters and five adopted children with special needs. Miller did not return a voice mail message seeking comment Friday for this article.More like this story
