Teen arrested on prostitution charges

DULUTH - A Forest Park teen was arrested in Duluth after allegedly trying to prostitute himself.

Johnny Wayne Lynch Jr., 17, offered an undercover investigator sexual intercourse in exchange for $100, according to a police report.

The report says Lynch posted on the Internet about being a "Barely Legal Boy Toy."

He was arrested at the Sun Suites of Gwinnett on Steve Reynolds Boulevard at 10 p.m. Feb. 28, charged with prostitution and cited for escorting without a permit.

Man charged with pandering

DULUTH - A Smyrna man tried to exchange sex for cocaine, a police report said.

Jeffrey Lorenzo Williams, 47, allegedly posted online looking for someone to "hit the pipe with," according to the report.

Williams was arrested Feb. 29 at 10:15 p.m. at the Sun Suites of Gwinnett on Steve Reynolds Boulevard. He was charged with sale of cocaine and pandering.

Police charge Lilburn man with trafficking cocaine

NORCROSS - A Lilburn man was charged with cocaine trafficking after police found more than 29 grams of the drug in his car.

Vernon Stanley Mitchell, 20, was arrested Feb. 29 at 10:30 p.m. after police pulled him over at Georgia Belle Court because his headlights were off.

According to a police report, Mitchell told police that the cocaine they found in his pocket did not belong to him, but was for some friends. A rolled up $20 bill with a white powdery substance on it and a bag with marijuana were also in that pocket.

Police also found a revolver with three bullets in it, a partially burned marijuana cigarette and two bags with cocaine in them in the car, the report said.

Mitchell was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm while committing a crime, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, giving a false name to an officer after saying he was his twin brother, displaying a fraudulent license as his own and not having his headlights on.
