The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the Demolition of Existing and Installation of new Playgrounds at Dacula Park for the Gwinnett County Department of Community Services.

Proposal packages are available for download at www.gwinnettcounty.com. Proposals must be returned in a sealed container marked on the outside with the Request for Proposal number and Company Name. Proposals will be received until 2:50 P.M. local time on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Gwinnett County Purchasing Office, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045. Any proposal received after this date and time will not be accepted. Proposals will be publicly opened and only names of submitting firms will be read at 3:00 P.M. A list of firms submitting proposals will be available the following business day on our website www.gwinnettcounty.com.

A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Gwinnett County Purchasing Office, above address. All contractors are urged to attend. Questions regarding proposals should be directed to Shelley McWhorter, Purchasing Associate III, at Shelley.mcwhorter@gwinnettcounty.com or by calling 770-822-8734, no later than Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Proposals are legal and binding upon the proposers when submitted. All proposals should be submitted in duplicate.

All contractors must submit with proposal, a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total proposal. Successful supplier will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond. Insurance and Bonding Company should be authorized to do business in Georgia by The Georgia Insurance Department, listed in the Department of Treasury's Publication of Companies holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Surety on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies, and must have an A.M. Best rating of A-5 or higher.

All companies submitting a proposal will be notified in writing of award.

The City of Suwanee is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for MANUFACTURING AND INSTALLATION OF CUSTOM STREET SIGNS . Sealed bids will be received by the City of Suwanee, Public Works and Inspections Department, 373 Highway 23, Suwanee, Georgia 30024, until 10:00 A.M. local time on Thursday, March 27, 2008, and then publicly opened and read aloud at the "Public Bid Opening" at 10:10 A.M. at City Hall Building Conference Room, 373 Highway 23, Suwanee, Georgia 30024. Any bid received after 10:00 A.M. will not be accepted. Bid envelope must be marked on the outside with Bid Number, Name of Bidder, date and time of opening and Contractor's License Number. The City of Snellville (City) is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the purchase of computer mounts and accessories for police vehicles in the City of Snellville, Georgia. Sealed bids for the award of this contract will be accepted at Snellville City Hall, 2342 Oak Road until 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 . Any bid received after said time and date will not be accepted by the City.

The City of Snellville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for construction of new SIDEWALKS ON MOUNTAIN VIEW ROAD, SUMMIT TURF LANE AND CLASSIC DRIVE. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Snellville, 2342 Oak Road, Snellville, Georgia 30078, until 3:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 3, 2008 . Bids shall be entered on a unit price basis and as described in the project manual.

One complete set of drawings and specifications shall be provided to General Contractors only, for a cost of $100 each. No partial sets of working drawings or specifications shall be issued.

Bids in the case of Corporations not chartered in Georgia, must be accompanied by proper certification stating that said Corporation is authorized to do business in the State of Georgia.

No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

All Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond or a certified check made payable to the City of Snellville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a contract performance bond and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount bid and provide insurance coverage as required by the contract documents. The Bid Bond or certified check must be enclosed in the envelope with the sealed bid.

Bonding Company must be licensed to do business in Georgia, licensed to do business by the Georgia Secretary of State, authorized to do business in Georgia by the Georgia Insurance Department, listed in the Department of the Treasury's Publication of Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Surety on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies and have an A.M. Best

rating of A-, Class V or higher.

The Owner will award the Contract to the lowest "qualified" bidder, subject with the Owner's right to
