Two men invade Sugar Hill home
SUGAR HILL - Two black men, one armed with a gun, forced their way into a Chandler Court residence Saturday and demanded money, police reports state.
One of the residents pushed past the men and ran away. The other jumped from the second story balcony. He hurt his foot, but still managed to make it out the back door following a struggle with a robber. The robbers jumped the fence and escaped.
Police recovered a Jennings .22 handgun from the living room.
No one hurt in apartment fire
BUFORD - No one was injured in a 6 a.m. apartment fire Tuesday.
Firefighters extinguished the fire that was contained to one unit of Rosehill Plantation on Sturgeon Road. Gwinnett County firefighters had not determined the fire's cause at press time.
Shots fired at Norcross home
NORCROSS - Shots were fired at a house on Bailey Drive in the Edgemoor subdivision near Norcross on Sunday.
The resident told police he saw three Honda Accords, a black one, a gray one and a silver one, drive past his house twice. The black Accord returned and the passenger fired several shots at the house, police reports state.
One bullet hit the Ford Explorer parked at the house.
The resident described the shooter as a light-skinned Latino man age 18 to 20.
