Rapper The Game begins serving jail sentence
LOS ANGELES - Playtime is over for The Game, who began serving a 60-day jail sentence for felony firearm possession. The rapper turned himself in Sunday night at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility, according to the Sheriff's Department. The 28-year-old entertainer (real name: Jayceon Terrell Taylor) was convicted last month of possession of a firearm in a school zone. He was accused of pulling a gun on a player from an opposing team during a pickup game at a South Los Angeles school nearly a year ago. Martin Sheen to receive medal from Notre Dame SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Activist-actor Martin Sheen will be honored by the University of Notre Dame with its Laetare Medal for his humanitarian work, the school announced Sunday. Drew Barrymore donates $1M to fight world hunger CHICAGO - Drew Barrymore said Monday she is donating $1 million to help fight hunger.
