Group to recycle school lunch trays

NORCROSS - Evergreen Partnering Group has partnered with Gwinnett County Public Schools in an agreement to recycle school food service polystyrene lunch trays.

The program is part of the Pollution Prevention Assistance Division's Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia.

"What's good for the environment can also be good for the bottom line," said Suzanne Burnes, Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia program manager.

The Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia is free and open to any Georgia business or organization. It is a non-regulatory division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. Since 1993, the organization has provided free, confidential environmental technical assistance in the areas of water conservation, waste reduction, energy conservation, by-product reuse and recycling. NFL's Reeves to speak at Optimus Solutions

NORCROSS - Dan Reeves, two-time NFL Coach of the Year and former Atlanta Falcons coach, will be the keynote speaker at IBM Lotusphere Comes to You 2008. The event is sponsored by Optimus Solutions, a technology solutions provider and value-added reseller.
