LAWRENCEVILLE - A woman died Friday morning at the scene of a head-on collision near Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, police said.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. on McKendree Church Road in Lawrenceville. Police did not immediately release the deceased woman's name. The woman was a passenger in a northbound 1993 Ford Mustang that crossed the center line for unknown reasons, said Gwinnett police spokesman Officer David Schiralli. The vehicle struck a southbound 2001 Land Rover. The driver of the Mustang and another passenger - along with the driver of the Land Rover - were transported to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment. All three are expected to survive, Schiralli said.More like this story
