Sinatra Jr. joins dad, sister on Walk of Stars
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Frank Sinatra Jr. has joined his famous dad and sister on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars.
The 64-year-old singer received star No. 307 on Palm Canyon Drive.
Sinatra noted that he used to play on the same street as a kid.
'This has been quite a sentimental journey,' he said Thursday.
London police clear Winehouse
LONDON - Police are no longer investigating Amy Winehouse on suspicion of attempting to interfere with a court case involving her husband, her spokesman said Friday.
The 24-year-old singer is no longer required to return to a police station for further questioning, her spokesman, Chris Goodman, said in a statement.
'Amy is pleased to be discounted from the investigation and thanks the police for their professionalism in their dealings with her,' the statement said.
Naomi Campbell leaves hospital
SAO PAULO, Brazil - Naomi Campbell was released Friday from the hospital where she underwent abdominal surgery.
The 37-year-old British supermodel, a frequent visitor to Brazil, was admitted for an emergency operation Monday.
'She recovered very well from her surgery,' said Mirtes Bogea, a spokeswoman for the Sirio Libanes hospital in Sao Paulo.
Remy Ma trial set to begin
NEW YORK - Jury selection will begin in New York next week in the trial of a 26-year-old rapper accused of shooting an acquaintance over missing money.
Remy Ma is accused of shooting a woman in the abdomen last July after leaving a party in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. She claimed the woman took $2,000 from her purse.
The rapper has pleaded not guilty to assault and related charges and is free on $250,000 bail. She could face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
A state Supreme Court justice has scheduled jury selection to begin Thursday.
