Emily Brooke Roberts and David Thornton Fields were married Nov. 11 at Epiphany Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dale Sillik officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of William Roberts of Duluth and Fran Melcher of Gainesville. She is a 1997 graduate of Duluth High School. She is a 2000 graduate of Gainesville College, where she received an A.A. in business administration, and a 2003 graduate of North Georgia College and State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in finance. She is employed by A Better Choice Real Estate as a real estate agent/property manager. The groom is the son of William and Beverly Fields of Duluth. He is a 1997 graduate of Duluth High School. He is pursuing a degree in biological science from Georgia State University. He is employed by Traditions in Tile and Stone. Patricia Dominice of Nashville, Tenn., served as the bride's maid of honor. Kimberly Roberts of Gainesville served as a bridesmaid. Bill Fields of Monroe served as the groom's best man. William Fields of Duluth served as a groomsman. After a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple now resides in Lawrenceville.More like this story
