Martha Meroney Cain and Michael Webster Cain of Clermont-Ferrand, France, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Michelle Cain of Wake Forest, N.C., to Jeffrey David Rhea of Raleigh, N.C., son of James and Phyllis Rhea of Rocky Mount, N.C.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of R.S. and Barbara Townsend Meroney of Thibodaux, La., and the late James W. Cain and Elaine Wilkins Cain. She is a graduate of the American School in Japan and received a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Clemson University. She is attending Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C., where she is pursuing a master's degree in women's studies. She is employed by Ruby Reid Child Development Center. The future groom is the grandson of Dorothy Williams of Rocky Mount, N.C., the late Philip Williams, the late Earl Rhea and the late Evelyn Rhea. He is a graduate of Southern Nash Senior High School and received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from North Carolina State University. He is employed by Lifeway Christian Bookstore and Best Buy. The wedding is planned for July 26 at the Magnolia Manor Plantation in Warrenton, N.C.More like this story
