Gwinnett Chamber to host forum
LAWRENCEVILLE - The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce will host "Health Care in a Political World," presented by Gwinnett Medical Center at 6 p.m. Thursday. The Verizon Wireless Government Relations, to be held at the Gwinnett Chamber, will be preceded by a reception at 5:30 p.m. The event is $15 for Chamber members, $25 for non-Chamber members and free to Chairman's Club. National HIV Testing Day Friday ATLANTA - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is urging the public to take part in the National HIV Testing Day, on Friday, an annual campaign organized by the National Association of People with AIDS. The theme of the campaign is "Take the Test. Take Control." The CDC estimates about one-fourth of the more than one million people living with HIV in the United States don't know they are infected.
