Larry and Ann Douglas of Roswell announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Douglas, to Murry Ryan Franklin, son of John and Betty Franklin of Lawrenceville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Victor L. Douglas and the late Eugene Christian and Catherine Christian of Bradenton, Fla. She is a 1999 graduate of High Point University and is completing a master's degree in teaching from Mercer University. She is employed by Sophia Academy as a third-grade teacher. The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aldwin Joseph Moos and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Franklin. He is a 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia and received a bachelor's degree in international business. He is employed by International Paper Co. The wedding is planned for late July at Roswell United Methodist Chapel.More like this story
