Bobby James Holbrook, age 66, of Lawrenceville, died June 17, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Linda Adams Holbrook, son, Steven Holbrook of Lawrenceville, daughter & son-in-law, Sharon & Tim Cook of Monroe, daughter, Misti Holbrook of Lawrenceville, grandson, Nicholas Cook of Monroe, sisters, Edna Dixon, Helen & Clifford (Tip) Echols and Elise & Ray Smith all of Lawrenceville, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Cathryn Branan of Cumming, Ellen & Horace Hunter of Buckhead, Margaret & Gene (Baby) Oakes of Buckhead, Terry & Carol Adams of Monroe, Wayne & Shirley Adams of Lawrenceville, Sheila & Nolan Wallace of Buford, and numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Holbrook operated Lance Body Shop for over thirty years. He was a member of the Lawrenceville Masonic Lodge # 131. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Educational Fund of Nicholas Cook at Brand Bank or the American Cancer Society- Gwinnett.
