KAY Mary Kay Horn Owen, 67, of Lawrenceville, GA, died on June 9, 2008. The memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Tom Wages Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. Kay was a loving wife, mother of four children, and grandmother of eight. Born in Bay Springs, MS, and raised in Laurel, MS, she lived most recently in Lawrenceville, GA. She was a musician and Registered Nurse and a self-taught artist. Kay painted stories from the photographs she had taken on her travels. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert S. Owen of Lawrenceville, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Karol Owen of Webb City, MO, Joel and Melanie Owen of Auburn, AL, and Jonathan and Robin Owen of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jana and Steve Roper of Pensacola, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Linda Horn of Huntsville, AL; sister and brother-in-law, Beckie and Ranny Day; grandchildren, Claire Owen, Samantha Owen, Janie Owen, Matthew Owen, Ryan Thompson, Kaitlyn Roper, Kristopher Roper, and Samuel Roper.
