LAWRENCEVILLE - Three metro Atlanta men were indicted this week for their roles in an alleged double-shooting that killed a South Carolina man in January.
Police say the men were accomplices in a botched drug deal Jan. 30 at the Highland Grove apartment complex in Stone Mountain. Two South Carolina men were shot in the head that night as they sat in a gold Acura, including the driver, Dedric Daquan Thompson, 28, who died at the scene.
Police found the second victim, Roscoe Gordon, about 10 feet from the car in a pool of blood.
A Gwinnett grand jury handed up charges Wednesday of murder, felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault against the three suspects - Rosby Eugene Cobb, of Decatur, and Dalva Ray Wilson and Malcolm Taurean Johnson, both of Stone Mountain.
Johnson and Wilson face an additional count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
All three suspects remain at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond. Their arraignments are expected within a month.
Gwinnett police arrested Cobb - a hip-hop promoter nicknamed "lil cuz" - and Wilson at their DeKalb County homes March 13.
Johnson was incarcerated at the DeKalb County Jail on battery, assault, weapons and drug charges when police tied him to the Stone Mountain shootings, police said.
