LAWRENCEVILLE - The Gwinnett County Board of Education approved two principal appointments this week.
Donna Scott, currently the principal at the Gwinnett Intervention Education (GIVE) Center East, will lead Phoenix High School. Phoenix's current principal, Kevin Tashlein, is leaving to run Peachtree Ridge High. Scott has worked for Gwinnett County Public Schools since 1981. She has a specialist's degree in educational leadership from the University of Georgia. Jay Paschall, an assistant principal at Parkview High, will replace Scott at the GIVE Center East. Paschall has worked for Gwinnett County Public Schools since 2001. He previously worked in education in Alabama and Florida. He has a specialist's degree in educational leadership from Troy State University.More like this story
