Leah Marie Chapman and Adam Wali Hamidi were married on June 7at Edith J. Carrier Arboretum in Harrisonburg, Va. Jamie Gregorian officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel Chapman of Dacula and Sandra Kyger of Harrisonburg, Va. She is a graduate of Turner Ashby High School in Bridgewater, Va., and of Massanutten Technical Center in Harrisonburg, Va. She received a diploma in practical nursing.
The groom is the son of Abdul Qadir and Sabine Hamidi of Silver Spring, Md. He is a graduate of Paint Branch High School and James Madison University, where he received a bachelor's degree in marketing. He completed his post baccalaureate in physiology at the University of Maryland and is a third-year medical student at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Fla.
Carrie Alford of Honolulu served as the bride's maid of honor.
Candace Carrier of Dayton, Va., served as the bride's matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jenni Lewis of Bridgewater, Va., Natalie Chapman of Auburn, Jaclyn Ware of Harrisonburg, Va., and Ariana Hamidi of Iowa City, Iowa.
Todd Cunninghame of Alexandria, Va., served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Alex Hamidi of Silver Spring, Md., Austin Hamidi of Silver Spring, Md., Reza Venegas of Potomac, Md., Sven Cowan of Reston, Va., and Damon Lussier of Alexandria, Va.
After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple now resides in Harrisonburg, Va.
