(1937-2008) Shirley Sadowski, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, July 15 in Decatur, Georgia after a brief struggle with cancer. Born in Chicago and raised in southeastern Wisconsin, she attended local schools including Salem Central High School. She spent many years in local farming, retail and tending bar prior to retiring in Georgia. She is best remembered for her quick laugh and her devotion to her family. She is survived by four children, Darrell Sinnen of California, Dale Sinnen and his wife Cathy of Georgia, Lori Sinnen and her life partner Sherri Boucher of Georgia, and Jerry Sadowski and his wife Barbara of Wisconsin; a sister, Jean Woffard and her husband Bill of Georgia and a brother, Arthur Herre and his wife Bette of Georgia. She leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Brittani Sadowski, Eirynn Sadowski, and Zechariah Sinnen, along with several cousins, nephews, and dear loving friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Dean Sinnen, and her mother and father, Elizabeth & Gerald K Herre. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, July 20 at 2 p.m. at Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville, Georgia.
