Spears gets overnights with boys added, trial averted
LOS ANGELES - Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have reached an agreement that grants the pop singer more overnight visits with her children and averts a custody trial that was scheduled for next month, attorneys said Friday. The agreement was announced following a closed-door session between lawyers for both sides and a Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner. Spears will now have three visits a week from Sean Preston and Jayden James, with at least two overnight visits, her attorney, Laura Wasser, told The Associated Press. Spears was granted one overnight visitation per week in late June. Salma Hayek, Pinault call off engagement NEW YORK - Salma Hayek has called off her engagement to businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, her representative said Friday. The couple announced their plans to wed in March 2007, and welcomed a daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault, several months later. Ex-Guns N' Roses member arrested in LA LOS ANGELES - Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler has been arrested in Hollywood for alleged drug possession. Los Angeles police spokesman Richard French said the 43-year-old Adler was arrested about 4 a.m. Friday by officers called to a home where a man reportedly was creating a disturbance and refusing to leave. Songwriter Hank Cochran recovering from surgery NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Songwriter Hank Cochran is recovering at a Nashville hospital following surgery to remove cancerous tumors from his pancreas and lymph node. The 72-year-old Cochran said the diagnosis was made very early and doctors expect him to make a full recovery.More like this story
