Aubrey "Porter" Watson (December 27, 2007 – June 30, 2008), age 6 months, passed away from complications of pneumonia. From the moment Porter was conceived he touched and changed many lives. The short amount of time that he was here is a tremendous blessing. Without a doubt, if Love could have kept him here, he would be here forever. He now lives forever in Heaven. Porter is survived by his parents, Kelly and Paige Watson of Atlanta; grandparents Aubrey and Stevie Watson of Richmond, VA and Pete and Phyllis Wallace of Greenville, SC; Aunts and Uncles Garrie and Windy Vereen of Athens, GA and Peter and Paula Wallace of Mt. Pleasant, SC; as well as numerous cousins, relatives and close friends; Godparents Jeff and Mary Virginia Gage of Atlanta; and special friends Dale and Robin (Bino) Gamel of Lawrenceville. He is preceded in death by Grandmother Jane Kelly Watson. A funeral service will be held at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel in Sandy Springs, on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 11 o'clock with interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Revered Foley Beach will officiate.
