Katherine “Kat” Wages Johnson, age 80, of Snellville, GA, died Tuesday evening, January 29, 2008. Her memorial service will be Saturday, February 2, 2008, at 11 am in the Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel with Rev. Bobby Moore officiating. Her cremains will be buried next to her late husband, J.P. Johnson, in Corinth Cemetery. Born in Gwinnett County, Kat was a home maker and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Survived by her sister, Faye Chambers, Lilburn, daughter-in-law, Beverly Johnson, Stone Mountain, grandsons, Rodney and Robin Johnson, Loganville, Ryan Johnson, Stone Mountain, great grandson, Alex Johnson, brother-in-law, Harold and Gerry Johnson, Lilburn, sisters-in-law, Ailene Johnson, Loganville, Mary Johnson, Decatur and several nieces and nephews. Please contribute in her memory to the American Heart Association or the Corinth Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, Box 870048, Stone Mountain, GA 30087.
