Greg and Becky Godfrey of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Godfrey of Athens, to David Lynn Rothmeier of Athens, son of David and Nancy Rothmeier of Lawrenceville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Martha and Devon Griffin of Tucker, Joyce Godfrey of Lithia Springs and Bobby Godfrey of Austell. She is a graduate of Berkmar High School and the College of Charleston. She is attending law school at the University of Georgia. The future groom is the grandson of Joe and Virginia Hayes of Doraville and Cheryl Brooks of Camas, Wash., and the late George D. Rothmeier. He is a graduate of Berkmar High School and the University of Georgia. He is employed by Stork Gamco in Gainesville. The wedding is planned for May 17 at The Reunion Club in Hoschton.More like this story
