NORCROSS - A Doraville man died Wednesday at an Atlanta hospital following a two-car crash in Norcross earlier this week.
Gadiel Sanchez, 21, died at Grady Memorial Hospital after fighting injuries he received when the Ford Ranger he was a passenger in rolled several times Tuesday night. Police said Sanchez was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. The two-car accident happened about 8 p.m. at the intersection of Jimmy Carter Boulevard and the southbound Interstate 85 exit ramp. Police arrested the driver of the truck, Javier Colin-Cambron, 21, of Norcross for driving without a valid license and making an unsafe lane change, said Gwinnett police spokesman Officer David Schiralli. Colin-Cambron cut off a second car, causing his truck to flip several times, police said. He was not injured. The driver of the second vehicle, a 2003 Saturn, was not injured, Schiralli said.More like this story
