T. R. (Tonnie Rexford) Davis, age 89, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2008. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Alcova Baptist Church. Rev. Gerald Hudlow & Dr. Lamar Holley will officiate. Burial Alcova Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Davis was a Gwinnett County Native & retired from the roofing business. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Cody & is survived by his Wife of 23 years, Ruth Davis; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Joan & Donnis Tullis, Lawrenceville, Marie & Glyndon Reese, Dacula; Brother, Larry Davis, Auburn; Step-Daughter: Jean Wright, Lawrenceville; Step-Grandchildren: Jessica & Shane Strickland, Brandon, Jereme & Kristen Wright; Several Nieces & Nephews. The Family will receive friends from 2 - 9 PM Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045, 770-962-3100.
