Gwinnett Daily Post
Having spent most of my adult life writing sports or writing on a daily basis for 38 years, I think I'm in a position to know a well-written story when I see one.
I think the masterfully written piece your sports editor Will Hammock did regarding the memorial service for Coach Dennis Roland ("Highest praise," Page 1A, Jan. 4) was one of the best and most-comprehensively written articles that I can recall in a long time. The amazing thing to me about the piece how well-written it was with the limited amount of time that he had to work with to meet your deadline for the following morning's newspaper. Trust me, it was excellent journalism by a young man who is certainly a credit to your outstanding newspaper. - Tony McIntyre LilburnMore like this story
