Nearly naked man arrested outside home

NORCROSS - A Norcross man was arrested Monday after police found him lying partially naked outside a Norcross home.

According to a police report, Barry Blake, 55, of 1135 Pin Oak Drive told police he laid down in the yard of a home on Old Norcross Tucker Road because he wanted to look at the stars.

Blake reportedly was wearing an open robe with no undergarments.

The 55-year-old was arrested and charged with loitering and prowling. Blake was also found to be wanted out of Florida for grand theft larceny and burglary and armed assault out of Massachusetts.

Norcross TV theft caught on tape

NORCROSS - Three men taking TVs from a Norcross business were caught in the act by the store's video surveillance, a police report said.

Gwinnett County police arrived at Aaron's Rents at 4975 Jimmy Carter Blvd. about 2 a.m. Monday, finding the front door of the business smashed and damage to a front window and parts of the wall.

Video caught the trio removing merchandise and putting it into a Chevrolet or GMC pick-up truck.

According to the report, the men could be responsible for a similar incident in DeKalb County.

Men arrested outside store for trying to sell CDs

BUFORD - Two men were arrested outside a Buford Wal-Mart on Friday after soliciting customers in the store's parking lot.

Tresor Kasende, 23, of Loganville and Walter Brooks White, 25, of Bogart were trying to sell CDs to customers outside the store on Buford Drive, according to a police report.

The pair did not have a permit to sell the items and did not have permission from the store, the report said.

Kasende and White, reportedly both record producers, were charged with soliciting without a permit and taken to the Gwinnett County Jail.
