Lauren Ashley Morlock and Rudolph John Cortjens were married Sept. 1 at The Marshall House in Savannah. The Rev. Brad Brady officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Lynn Godbee Morlock of Snellville, and the late Gary David Morlock of Monticello. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Godbee Sr. of Brooklet, Mrs. Cecil Freihofer of Indianapolis, and the late Alvin Morlock. She is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in exercise science. She is attending Life University, where she is pursuing a doctorate of chiropractic degree.

The groom is the son of Tom and Jean Stout of Reno, Nev., and Leo and Debbie Cortjens of Suwanee. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Don Cassens of Conyers, Edith Cortjens of the Netherlands, and the late Jan Cortjens, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stout of Pataskala, Ohio, and Edith Williams of Roswell, and the late Lester Williams. He is a graduate of Georgia State University, where he received bachelor's degrees in finance and risk management. He is employed by of Atlanta.

Melissa Ziarnick of Wichita Falls, Texas, served as the bride's matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Sara Elizabeth Hickman of Columbia, Tenn., Maria Melts of Suwanee, Lisa Rector of Snellville, and Reena Taank of West Haven, Conn.

Ricky Alexander of Lilburn served as the groom's best man.

Groomsmen were Ben LaBuhn of Lilburn, Deepak Gupta of Atlanta, Scott Spence of Atlanta, and Brent Ziarnick of Las Cruces, N.M.

The couple now resides in Atlanta.
