SNELLVILLE - Police are seeking public information that might lead them to a 52-year-old Snellville woman missing since Dec. 29.
Family members told police Linda Sue Andrisan, of 2009 Fabersham Drive, Snellville, was last seen leaving her home a week ago.
Andrisan's mother reported the missing woman is schizophrenic.
Snellville police Sgt. Ray Gunter said investigators believe Andrisan may have been registered at DeKalb Medical Center under another name.
Emergency responders in DeKalb said they transported a woman fitting Andrisan's description to the hospital following a car accident Dec. 29.
Gunter said police have searched the hospital's database but had not located the woman late Friday.
"We're still not sure where she's at," he said.
DeKalb police found Andrisan's white Dodge Neon abandoned at the intersection of U.S. Highway 78 and I-285 the day she disappeared. Her purse and cell phone were found inside, Gunter said.
