Puerto Rico's Roselyn Sanchez to wed fellow actor Eric Winter
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Roselyn Sanchez and fellow actor Eric Winter got engaged during a holiday vacation on the island of Vieques, just east of mainland Puerto Rico, according to a statement released Tuesday.
The couple, who have been dating for two years, will talk about a date and location for their nuptials once they return to Los Angeles, according to Brenda Rodriguez, Sanchez's publicist in Puerto Rico.
Sanchez appears in the CBS series 'Without a Trace' and produced the 2007 movie 'Yellow.' Winter has appeared in a variety of TV shows, including 'Days of Our Lives.'
James Brown's unreleased recordings held in legal fight
AUGUSTA - The legal feud over the estate of James Brown is stalling the release of the soul legend's final recordings, his longtime adviser said.
Brown cut an album in Los Angeles the summer before he died in December 2006, but the songs are not being released because of courtroom disputes about who should benefit from his legacy and music royalties, said attorney Buddy Dallas. There are also between 50 and 60 other previously recorded songs in vaults, Dallas said.
Late-night TV returns tonight
NEW YORK - The late-night landscape is about to change, and no one - not the hosts, not the viewers - knows how it will look.
What everybody does know is tonight, five late-night hosts will return to work. Each host is sure to be stoked after having been sidelined since the writers strike began eight weeks ago.
Thanks to an agreement with the Writers Guild of America forged just last week, two of the hosts - David Letterman and Craig Ferguson - will be accompanied by their writing teams.
It's a different story for Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel. They will be deprived of their writers' services while, on the fly, they retool the talk-show format and, relying on improvisation, do, well, who knows what?
