Marie H. Cook, age 81 of Stone Mountain, GA, died Friday, February 22, 2008. She was preceded in death by sister, Etheleen Swint, and brothers, Max Hamby, Eugene Hamby and Johnny Hamby. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert N. Cook, Sr.; daughters, Gina Marie Cook of Stone Mountain and Faye Lynn & Curtis Jones of Grayson; Son, Robert N. and Vickie Cook, Jr. of Lilburn; sister, Joan Peterman of Griffin; brother, Lewis Marvin Hamby of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Daniel (Gigi), Robbie, Christopher, Ashley, Kathy and Kelli and great grandchildren, Tyler and Riley. Mrs. Cook was a member of Avondale Patilla United Methodist Church and was retired from Sears. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 2 pm at Horis A. Ward, Stone Mountain Chapel with Rev. David Allen Grady officiating. Interment will follow at Hardeman Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Horis A.
