DULUTH - Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce officials believe a new logo will help attract new businesses to the county.
The Gwinnett Chamber's economic development department unveiled a new look for the decade-old Success Lives Here campaign brand Wednesday. The new brand and campaign will be used to attract national and global attention to Gwinnett County.
The Success Lives Here campaign will promote the county's strengths in job creation, quality of life, educated work force, institutions of higher education, incentive program and business-friendly environment.
The program will target companies doing business in advanced communications, information technology, logistics, life science and health care, and regional and corporate headquarters for professional services.
"Our goal is to position Gwinnett to decision makers as the best place for business location, retention and expansion in the metro Atlanta region," said Demming Bass, vice president of marketing and public policy for the Gwinnett Chamber.
The new Success Lives Here brand presents a high-tech, modern look that will serve as the foundation for economic development marketing to a national and global audience. Advertising featuring the new brand will begin running in March in Site Selection and Georgia Trend magazines.
The Gwinnett Chamber is the Southeast's sixth largest chamber of commerce. Partnership Gwinnett is its economic and community development initiative. Partnership Gwinnett's five-year goal calls for the creation of 65,000 new jobs and $5.8 billion dollars in new wealth.
