NORCROSS, Ga. - A man's standoff with a Gwinnett County police SWAT team ended Friday morning, authorities said.
SWAT team members entered the home in Norcross where the man had been holed up since about 10 p.m. Thursday, found the man in the attic and were able to talk him into surrendering, county police spokeswoman Cpl. Illana Spellman said. Police had found a woman's body in the home when officers answered the initial call Thursday night. The officers left the house and called in the SWAT team. Now that the standoff has ended, Spellman says police will investigate how the woman died. The relationship between the man and woman was not immediately clear. Police have not released their names. No one was injured during the standoff. - Associated PressMore like this story
