Lawrenceville woman says she was attacked

DULUTH - A Lawrenceville woman reported Sunday she was attacked by a woman at a Duluth nightclub.

According to a police report, the victim was grabbed by the hair and punched in the ear by the woman after a verbal quarrel over the use of a pool table at Barnacles on Market Street.

The woman reportedly grabbed the female by the hair and began hitting her, the report said.

The victim said her attacker also damaged her vehicle in parking lot, busting in a taillight and denting the trunk.

Teen accused of shoplifting

BUFORD - A Lawrenceville teen was arrested Sunday after he was reportedly seen taking items from an Abercrombie and Fitch store at the Mall of Georgia.

A store loss prevention agent said Ramo Marjic, 17, a South Gwinnett High School student, was seen concealing an item worth nearly $50 in his pants pocket.

Gwinnett County police were notified and Marjic was transported to the Gwinnett County Jail on charges of theft by shoplifting.

Teen charged with driving without a license

LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County police arrested a Lawrenceville teen Saturday after the 17-year-old could not provide a driver's license to authorities.

According to a police report, Darius Devonne Parker of Patterson Court was stopped by police while driving in his Lawrenceville neighborhood after an officer noticed the vehicle had a taillight that was out.

The report said Parker admitted he did not have a license and was going next week to get his learner's permit. He said his girlfriend was letting him drive for practice before the test.

Parker was charged with driving without a license and his girlfriend cited for letting the teen drive her vehicle.
