Boyfriend chased by teen with knife

SUWANEE - A 17-year-old female from Suwanee said her boyfriend was threatened at knifepoint by a teenage boy who was trying to hit on her last week.

According to a police report, the 17-year-old and her boyfriend were dropped off at a home on Savannah Walk Lane in Suwanee about 2 p.m. Friday by a group of boys, including the knife-wielding teen.

When she exited the vehicle the teenage boy began yelling at the girl and proceeded to chase after her boyfriend with a knife when he was told to go away, the report said.

The armed person was described as a light complexioned black boy, with a goatee, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, wielding a knife with a 4-inch blade.

Van vandalized

LILBURN - A Tucker man says his vehicle was vandalized while he and his family were eating at a Lilburn restaurant Saturday.

According to a police report, someone spray-painted the headlights and windshield of the man's 2004 Ford Freestar Van white while it was parked outside the IHOP at 4205 Stone Mountain Highway.

The man discovered the damage about 7 p.m. Saturday and notified Gwinnett police.

Man threatens another at store

LOGANVILLE - A Loganville man was threatened outside a local grocery store Sunday by a man claiming he was armed with a gun, a police report said.

The tiff began in the parking lot of the Kroger at 910 Athens Highway when the 19-year-old victim honked at the man.

When the victim pulled into a parking spot the driver blocked him in with his vehicle and then threatened to kill him.

The man followed the victim into the store but soon left.

The man making the threats was described as a black man, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, 200 pounds with a bald head, wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The man drove a tan colored pick -up truck with a Georgia license plate.
