Gwinnett Daily Post
What a pleasure to have picked up the Jan. 26 paper and read your delightful article on Louise Howington ("A League of Her Own," Page 1C).
I had the privilege of being interviewed by Mrs. Howington in January 1983 for a position with the Snellville Parks and Recreation Department. I remember at the time thinking what an energetic and fun senior she was. I thought that if all seniors were as fun as she was, then that job was right for me. That interview led to an 18-year career as a program supervisor with the department and the wonderful "Keenagers." It was awesome to see her featured in the article and to see she is still living life to the fullest. She is a very special person to me and all those around her. Thank you for sharing her story and her wonderful sense of humor with your readers. - Cathy Stokes LawrencevilleMore like this story
