Man pistol-whipped for wing opinion
NORCROSS - A Lilburn man told police he was pistol-whipped last week after he argued with another man about chicken wings. The victim said he got into an argument regarding chicken wings at a Norcross sports bar with a man he didn't know. He told police a black man with long dreads pulled a black pistol from his jacket and struck him in the head. The incident happened about 10 p.m. last Thursday at a sports bar on Indian Trail Road. The victim complained of minor head pain on scene but refused medical attention, according to a police report. Man robs QuikTrip BUFORD - Police are searching for a man they suspect robbed a Buford QuikTrip early Saturday morning. Witnesses told police the robber bore a resemblance to an employee who was recently fired. The robber entered the Buford Drive store about 4 a.m., jumped a counter and hit a button to open a cash register, according to a police report. The robber is described at a white man, wearing a black ski mask, green jacket, white shirt and blue jeans. Police visited the suspect's Buford home but were unable to locate him. Man charged after falling on face NORCROSS - A Tucker man was arrested Saturday on a charge of disorderly conduct after police say he stumbled around a Norcross gas station. Martin Martinez, 27, was arrested after an officer saw him "fall over and land directly on his face," according to a report. Martinez could not stand or speak coherently when questioned by the officer near a QuikTrip station on South Norcross-Tucker Road, the report says. Martinez did not carry identification but was later identified by Gwinnett County Jail deputies from a previous arrest.More like this story
