City to host Lilburn 101 sessions

LILBURN - Lilburnites can learn all about their city, during the first ever Lilburn 101 class, offered by the government.

The Lilburn 101 program will highlight city departments such as police and parks, according to a press release. Officials have planned an interactive program with tours and activities, to give residents an inside view of the city.

Applications are now being accepted for the program, which is limited to the first 15 residents. Information and applications can be found online at www.cityoflilburn.com or in person at City Hall.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and apply by Feb. 6 for the free program.

Sessions will be two hours, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 10. Sessions are also scheduled for March 3 and 17, and April 7 and 21.
