ATLANTA - An Atlanta man is behind bars after authorities say he raped a 6-year-old girl Nov. 30.
Deputies from the Gwinnett Sheriff's Department's Fugitive Unit arrested 24-year-old Enrique Cortez-Valente on Monday at the Regency Woods Apartments in Atlanta as he returned home from work. Deputies said they had set up surveillance on the residence and arrested Cortez-Valente without incident. Jail records show Cortez-Valente is being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Detention Center.More like this story
