LILBURN - The Annie Moses Band hopes to make the Christmas season musical and magical for Gwinnett residents as the six-sibling group makes a stop in Lilburn on its "This Glorious Christmas" tour.
The Nashville-based band features lead singer and violinist Annie Wolaver, Alex Wolaver on viola, Benjamin Wolaver on cello, Camille Wolaver harp and keyboard, Gretchen Wolaver on violin and mandolin and Jeremiah Wolaver on guitar and banjo.
The Annie Moses Band has played at the First Baptist Church in Lilburn several times.
"We have quite a fan base in the Atlanta area and in many ways it has become a Christmas tradition for the Annie Moses Band to come to Lilburn," Annie Wolaver said.
The band will perform music from its latest album and the inspiration for the name of its tour, "This Glorious Christmas," which includes traditional Christmas carols and original songs.
"A concert with the Annie Moses Band is quite diverse and unique in its style," Annie Wolaver said.
Audiences can expect classically-based music - Annie Wolaver and her brothers trained at The Juilliard School of performing arts - with the sounds of jazz and bluegrass.
"It's quite a fusion of fiddle sounds," Annie Wolaver said.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and a love offering will be taken. For more information, call 770-921-1220.
