LAWRENCEVILLE - In separate incidents, local authorities made three arrests over the weekend for the possession and trafficking of crystal methamphetamine.
Just after midnight Saturday, reports said, Gwinnett Police arrested Jessica Dover, 24, of Dahlonega, and Dennis Jason Dick, 36, of Gainesville, after discovering the pair inside a 1997 Mitsubishi on Buford Drive at Buford Highway. According to reports, police found two bags of meth in Dover's pants. Warrants list the quantity of meth as more than 28 grams, but less than 200. According to an arrest warrant, Dover said Dick "did possess the methamphetamine and shoved it in her pants."
Also around midnight, Norcross police charged Julie Denise Wade, 22, of Doraville, with possession of crystal meth after they said they found a clear plastic baggie containing the drug inside a cigarette pack in her purse. Police also found a glass pipe containing residue in her shirt sleeve.
All three subjects were booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center, where Dick and Dover are being held without bond. Jail records show Wade is free on a $2,950 surety bond.
Dick and Dover are also charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and Dick was charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.
