Prep Roundup: Parkview girls stay undefeated

LILBURN - Parkview's girls basketball team improved to 5-0 on Friday with a 52-33 victory over Central Gwinnett in a Region 8-AAAAA game.

Katie Carroll scored 14 points and had four steals for the Panthers. Amiri Williams led Central (2-3) with 16 points.


South 64, Meadowcreek 16

NORCROSS - South Gwinnett topped Meadowcreek 64-16 on Friday.

Rachel Ludick scored nine points and Janecia Lewis added eight for South (3-1). Logan Johnson scored five points for Meadowcreek.

Duluth 63, Northview 52

DULUTH - Mykala Walker led the way with 19 points as Duluth defeated Northview 63-52 on Friday.

Alex Phillips added 14 points for Duluth (4-2).

Brookwood 41, Dacula 34

SNELLVILLE - Jazmine Jackson led the Broncos with 13 points as Brookwood beat Dacula 41-34 on Friday.

Katie Mallow added 10 points for Brookwood (4-2) and Courtney Williams scored eight points for Dacula.

Milton 73, GAC 54

ALPHARETTA - Chaney Means' double-double was not enough to get Greater Atlanta Christian past Milton, as the Spartans fell to Milton 73-52 on Friday.

Means scored 18 points and had 10 steals and Clarke Boards scored eight points for GAC. Siera Lawrence added seven points and Christine Young had seven rebounds for the Spartans (2-4).

North 48, Chattahoochee 40

ALPHARETTA - Stephanie Wheeler led North Gwinnett with 22 points to help the Bulldogs (4-1) defeat Chattahoochee 48-40 on Friday.

Mill Creek 84, North Forsyth 32

CUMMING - Moneisha Simmons and Tia Williams each scored 15 points to help Mill Creek (4-1) beat North Forsyth 84-32 on Friday.

Williams also had eight steals and Simmons had eight rebounds.

Providence 48, Hebron 30

LILBURN - Providence Christian defeated Hebron Christian 48-30 on Friday.

Amelia Allen led with 12 points and Liz Learst added eight points for the Stars (5-2).

Loganville 72, Apalachee 36

LOGANVILLE - Enisha Donley led with 12 points as Loganville topped Apalachee 72-36 on Friday.

Morgan Staffins added 11 points for Loganville (2-3).

Greater Gwinnett 48, Macon Area 46

NORCROSS - Diamond Smith led Greater Gwinnett with 23 points, four steals and six rebounds as the Barons defeated Macon Area 48-46 on Friday.

Ashley White added 14 points for Greater Gwinnett (9-4).


Central 64, Parkview 62

LILBURN - Central Gwinnett defeated Parkview 64-62 on Friday.

Ayo Madamidola scored 15 points and Jordan Adams had 12 points for Central. Prinz Barimah scored 11 points and Kwabena Frimpong added 10 for the Black Knights (2-3).

Rachard Lofton led Parkview with 29 points.

South 82, Meadowcreek 62

NORCROSS - Xavier Chargois led South Gwinnett with 21 points as the Comets beat Meadowcreek 82-62 on Friday.

Javonte Maynor scored 20 points and Adonis Harrison added 15 points for South (2-2).

Dominique McKoy scored 23 points and Thomas Hines had 11 for Meadowcreek (3-1).

Duluth 67, Northview 48

DULUTH - Jarrett Christian scored 19 points to help Duluth take a 67-48 win over Northview on Friday.

Terry Charles added 15 points for Duluth (2-3).

Dacula 37, Brookwood 27

SNELLVILLE - Matt Marseille led Dacula (3-2) with 17 points as the Falcons defeated Brookwood 37-27 on Friday.

Chattahoochee 64, North 62

ALPHARETTA - North Gwinnett fell to Chattahoochee 64-62 in overtime on Friday night.

Travis Techo scored 17 points and Clayton Williams scored 13 for North.

Mill Creek 71, North Forsyth 55

CUMMING - Mill Creek topped North Forsyth 71-55 on Friday.

Brandon Hayman led the Hawks (3-2) with 14 points, while Kyle Speller and Ronald Wamer each added 13 points each.

Providence 72, Hebron 54

LILBURN - Providence Christian topped Hebron Christian 72-54 on Friday night.

Westley Hinton scored 15 points and Nate Bucher had 11 for Providence. Michael Adams added 12 points and Peter Hage had 11 for the Stars (4-2).

Shawn Gibbs led Hebron with 20 points.

Loganville 85, Apalachee 81

LOGANVILLE - Loganville defeated Apalachee 85-81 on Friday.

Tyler Gunnett scored 25 points and Stephen Cochran had 20 points for Loganville.

Chaun Gresham led Apalachee with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Dennis Whitley had 19 points, DeVaughn Kilgore scored 11 and John Ansley added 10 points for Apalachee (1-2).

Greater Gwinnett 75, Macon 62

NORCROSS - Greater Gwinnett topped Macon Area 75-62 on Friday.

Bruce Burkholder led the Barons with 28 points and 15 rebounds, and Toby DeLoach scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds. Emmanuel Harris added 13 points and had six rebounds for Greater Gwinnett (7-4).


Dacula goes 3-0

BOGART - Dacula defeated Glenn Hills (77-6), Westside Augusta (66-12) and North Oconee (48-22) on Friday night.

Dacula's Brandon Bullock (103), Michael Allmon (112), Noah Hunt (119), Dale Miller (125), Bitaliy Yarmurity (135), Zeke Hunt (152) , Alex Sweatt (171) and Bryson Turner (215) were all 3-0 for the night.
