DACULA - Providence finished Tuesday night with two wins, topping Meadowcreek in three games 25-15, 20-25, 25-15 and sweeping Hebron 25-11, 25-19. The two wins upped the Stars' record to 6-9.
Hebron earned a split by beating Meadowcreek 25-15, 25-11. Elise Murray led Hebron (5-5) with nine kills while Sarah Hedrick (five aces, four kills) and Courtney Bishop (four kills, three aces) each had solid games. VOLLEYBALL Parkview loses two COLLEGE PARK - Parkview's record fell to 1-3 on Tuesday as the Panthers dropped a pair of matches to Starr's Mill (25-21, 25-12) and Woodward Academy (25-4, 28-26). Top performers for the Panthers were Libby Lukens (12 digs), Jordan Flanagan (seven digs), Lauren Coleman (six kills) and Audrey Hipple (three aces). GAC falls to Northview and Central LAWRENCEVILLE - Greater Atlanta Christian fell to a pair of Class AAAAA opponents on Tuesday with losses to Central Gwinnett (10-25, 25-17, 25-22) and Northview (25-22, 25-20). Leading hitter for GAC (2-4) was Amanda Komisarow with 20 kills and 18 digs. Megan Rossburg finished with 18 digs and 11 kills while Brynn Massey had 30 assists. Central (2-3) received strong play from Rachel Johnson (five digs, four kills), Lindsey NeSmith (five assists, three digs) and Tee Adeshigbin (seven digs) in the win against GAC. The Black Knights also lost to two other teams in Chattahoochee (25-16, 25-9) and Northview (25-17, 25-16).
