LAWRENCEVILLE - Five people arrested Monday in Lawrenceville face a host of drug-related charges, including cocaine possession.
Francisco Berrera-Gomez, 29; Yereny Rodriguez-Trujilo, 25; Isioro Rodriguez-Vergara, 43; and Maria Isabel Maldanado, 41 - all living at 1302 Realm Lane in west Lawrenceville, just off Club Drive - are charged with cocaine possession, arrest warrants show. Rodriguez-Vergara and Maldanado are also charged with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. Mario Gomez-Ortiz, 32, who lives nearby on Hampton Hill Court, is charged with two counts of cocaine trafficking and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, an arrest warrants states. Police allege Gomez-Ortiz had 600 grams of cocaine in a kitchen drawer and 1,077 grams of cocaine in his vehicle. All five remain in the Gwinnett County Jail, records show. Cpl. Illana Spellman, spokesperson for the Gwinnett County Police Department, said a report regarding the arrests was not yet available.More like this story
