Ben Williams and Renee Bell of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Williams of Suwanee, to Cale Sledge of Lawrenceville, son of Craig and Sylvia Sledge of Grayson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mattie Lou Williams of LaGrange, Carolyn Bell of Franklin and the late Hoyt Bell. She is a 2002 graduate of Oconee County High School and a 2007 graduate of Georgia College & State University. She is employed by Verizon Wireless. The future groom is the grandson of Warren and Blanche Crider of Snellville and Frank and Earline Sledge of Dade City, Fla. He is a 2002 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and a 2007 graduate of Georgia College & State University. He is employed by AGCO in Duluth.
