Pair accused of trafficking
Drugs, cash, guns found

NORCROSS - Two men were arrested Thursday after authorities found cocaine, firearms and more than $10,000 cash in their vehicle, an official said.

Michael Anthony Grant and Stacy Marice Benton - both 34 and of Savannah - are charged with trafficking cocaine, according to Gwinnett Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Stacey Bourbonnais.

They are being held in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond, records show.

A Gwinnett Sheriff's K-9 deputy discovered nine kilograms of cocaine, two handguns and $10,449 in cash in a hidden compartment after stopping the duo for a window tint violation Thursday evening southbound on Interstate 85 near Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Bourbonnais said.

The handguns recovered were a .45 caliber and a .380 caliber.
