Kathryn Tyree Simmons and Brian Thomas White were married April 19 at St. Thomas by the Sea Catholic Church in Orange Beach, Ala. Father Joseph Meehan of Jacksonville, Fla., officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Deanna Simmons of Lawrenceville. She is a 1994 graduate of Meadowcreek High School and a 1998 graduate of Georgia College and State University. She is a reporter at Bay News 9 in the Tampa Bay area.
The groom is the son of Patti and Kevin Maloney of Wylie, Texas, and Christopher White of St. Louis. He is a 1992 graduate of Wylie High School and a 1996 graduate of Baylor University. He is self-employed.
Kelley Hammock of Buford, sister of the bride, served as the bride's matron of honor.
Tracy Preston of Atlanta served as the bride's maid of honor.
Scott Simmons of Dacula, brother of the bride, also stood up at the bride's side.
Chris White of Frisco, Texas, brother of the groom, served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Peter McKenzie of Dallas, Texas, and Chad Mowrey of San Antonio.
Bryn Hammock, niece of the bride, and Riley White, niece of the groom, served as flower girls. Dylan Hammock, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple now resides in Clearwater, Fla.
