LAWRENCEVILLE - Georgia's Department of Transportation announced Thursday that a new ramp would open today on the Interstate 85 and Georgia Highway 316 interchange project. By 8 a.m., vehicles traveling from the northbound collector-distributor to Interstate 85 northbound should see the finished ramp open for travel.
This new ramp will allow northbound traffic from Pleasant Hill Road on the collector-distributor to access Interstate 85 northbound. Vehicles traveling in this direction will also now be allowed the option to exit at Old Peachtree Road. GDOT said this new ramp should alleviate traffic delays at the end of the collector-distributor lane.More like this story
