· Norcross Station Cafe

Norcross Station Cafe boasts more that 70 menu selections, including the chicken salad club, which has been on the menu since the restaurant opened. Another popular item is the the low country shrimp - a generous portion of large butterfly shrimp lightly breaded and fried. Built in 1901 as a train depot, Norcross Station Cafe owner Ken Weatherford has taken advantage of the historical significance of his building. The walls are adorned with train memorabilia, including photographs and historical documents.

· Gourmandises

Gourmandises boasts authentic French food, including breads, pastries and sandwiches. The items served are free of hormones and antibiotics, and many of the menu items reflect a healthy take on gourmet food. Owner Christophe Houy, a native of Versailles, France, said the most popular item on the menu is the chicken salad, a French chicken salad served on lettuce and tomatoes.

· Benny's Bar and Grill

A fairly casual place with touches of a fine dining experience, Benny's Bar and Grill offers a generous menu with something for every guest - from tater tots piled with chili, cheese sauce, onions tomatoes, salsa and cheddar cheese, to the most popular dish, the made-from-scratch almond tilapia, a moist, melts-in-your-mouth piece of fish topped with almond butter sauce and toasted almonds served with roasted potatoes and asparagus.

· Tabby's Irish Pub

Tabby's, located in Tannery Row in historic downtown Buford, serves traditional pub food - bangers and mash and fish and chips - along with a selection of burgers and sandwiches. The pub also offers Shepherd's pie, a hearty meal of seasoned ground beef covered by layers of onions, carrots and cider-braised cabbage topped with homemade mashed potatoes. The pub also features live bands, including traditional Irish music on many weekends.

· Hidalgo's Mexican Restaurant

This family-owned Lawrenceville restaurant serves traditional Mexican fare such as Hidalgo's fajitas - chicken and beef with sauteed onions, poblano peppers and a super savory secret sauce, served alongside refried beans and big dollops of guacamole and sour cream. The pollo tarasco is a customer favorite - grilled chicken breast slathered in Mexican creme sauce, topped with poblano pepper and cheese, and served with rice, veggies and warm tortillas.

· Fratelli's Italian Restaurant

The portions served by Fratelli's Italian Restaurant may be smaller in quantity and price than its sister establishment, Fratelli Di Napoli Ristorante, which serves shared-style platters, but the quality of the food remains the same. Rigatoni with Vodka Sauce, made with wild mushrooms and a touch of heavy cream, is one of the most popular dishes. Chicken Parmigiana, which comes smothered in marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, is also a customer favorite.
