Mrs. Ruth Harvey Wood, age 83, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2008. She is survived by her: Sons and Daughter-In-Law: Philip and Edna Wood, Suwanee, GA Paul and Jane Wood, Woodstock, GA Daughter and Son-In-Law: Linda and Gene Whitworth, Woodstock, GA Grandchildren: Madison Wood, Lindsey Wood, Natalie Wood, Kayla Whitworth. Mrs. Wood was born December 17, 1924 in Newport, KY. She received her nursing degree from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA. She was retired from Georgia Baptist Hospital after forty years of service as a registered nurse. She was a member of the Epiphany Lutheran Church in Suwanee, GA at Suwanee Station. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1350 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Suwanee, GA 30024, Suwanee Station) Phone: 770-831-1966 with The Rev. Dr. Robert Sims officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA.
